60t Gantry-crane girder

The client has been purchased a new 60t gantry-crane and was willing to use their existing girder for their heavy pre-cast concrete elements. The task was to modify the girder in a way that the new crane hook-adapter can fit into it while they can still use the old crane. The challange was that the two lifting points were close to each other, so we designed a tiltable element to solve the issue.

The girder was difficult to modifiy, so some external structure was needed to "hug" the big hollow section.

Load test has been carried out succesfuly.
